Made of borosilicate glass, these bottles are food grade and meant to be sturdy; however, they're still glass. Please handle with care. Bottles are dishwasher safe on a normal wash. Ink subjected to high heat on other wash settings could wear over time decreasing longevity. Lids are not dishwasher safe and are to be hand washed only.
As mentioned, these lids are hand wash only. If they are subjected to dishwashing, microwave, sterilization or heated dry cycles in other fabulous mom aids (such as the Brezza wash and dryer) they will warp and ruin. We are currently unable to replace lids so please (pretty please...) follow those instructions strictly.
Use the re-usable tags to make the days date, time of day, or even your LO's name for your caretakers! Easily remove the writing with dry eraser, soap and water or your standard cleaner will take it off. Once your maker runs dry, feel free to use a standard dry erase marker in it's place.
Fun Fact: you may also write on the clear part of the lid with dry eraser.
The ink used on our bottles has undergone testing to ensure it is lead free and safe for you and your babies. This type of ink can break down over time, similar to other products, if cleansed incorrectly. Alcohol is a popular ingredient in many soaps. It can also break down the ink particles. Please check your ingredients.
If your containers are leaking, the rubber o-ring that goes in the top of the lid is likely missing. If you are missing your o-rings please reach out for a replacement on our contact page.
This is not where they belong :) If you find your o-rings stuck to the rim of the glass, they can be gently peeled off and placed in the rim of the lid where they're supposed to live. If this process damages the o-rings, please reach out on our contact page.
Totally normal! Gently swirl milk to reintegrate that precious milk fat back into your liquid gold! The heat from your hand will help aid in this process.
Also, totally normal. This happens because you are placing warm breast milk into a container to be cooled.
The stickers are not meant to be super hardy. Please note this when you are deciding where to place them. They can wear over time with repeated washing.
Please follow all AAP guidelines and recommendations regarding the storage of your liquid gold!
Bottles are intended for storage and transportation. Do not feed baby directly from the bottle.
Lids are not microwave or sterilizer safe. Do not boil.
Silicone strap, tags, rubber bands and parts in the lid are choking hazards.
